ⓘ how the war maps to the book
Every troop is a resting order. Bids mass on the orange side, asks on the blue side, and the closer a troop is to the front line, the closer its price is to the touch — deeper orders sit further back. Bigger orders field more, heavier units (trooper → e-bike → tank). Troops stack and stay put; they're only removed when a real buy or sell fills them — a buy eats the front asks, a sell eats the front bids — with the trade's true value shown. "Fill orders" toggles whether trades remove troops; "Trade strikes" toggles the incoming fire. Skirmishers charging the line and unlabeled munitions are combat flair — only real buys/sells carry a value, and whichever side is winning the 1-hour candles (bulls = orange, bears = blue) lobs more munitions.
Prices and book pull live from a public exchange when CORS allows (Coinbase / Gate.io / MEXC). If the browser blocks it, the chart and war run on a seeded simulation around $BTC's real price — the pill up top always says which mode is live.
